1月29日，国际米兰官方宣布，球队中场森西租借加盟桑普多利亚，合同至2022年6月份，在租借合同当中并没有买断条款。
26岁的森西由于伤病的原因，本赛季在国米沦为了替补。本赛季，他仅为国际米兰出场了9次，仅有1次首发。国米希望森西能够在桑普多利亚找回昔日的状态。
2020年9月，国际米兰花了2500万从萨索洛引进了森西，他至今为国际米兰出场了52次，打入4球。森西同时也是意大利国脚，他跟随意大利队赢得了2020年欧洲杯的冠军。
